In just a few days, I’ll be boarding a flight unlike any other—a mission of gratitude, memory, and respect.
I’m honored to represent GrandPad on a historic journey to Normandy, France, alongside a group of extraordinary WWII veterans who are returning to the site of D-Day for its 81st anniversary. This once-in-a-lifetime trip, made possible through our inspiring partnership with Delta Air Lines and the Best Defense Foundation, will be a deeply emotional and educational experience—and I want to bring you with me.
The Heart Behind This Journey
At GrandPad, our mission is to improve the lives of older adults by helping them connect with family, friends, and the world around them. But we also believe in honoring those who paved the way for the freedoms we enjoy today—especially the Greatest Generation.
Many of the veterans making this trip are GrandPad users. Ranging in age from 98 to 104, these remarkable men and women served with honor and courage eight decades ago. They continue to inspire us with their strength, resilience, and humility.
This journey will not only be a chance to reflect, but also a call to remember—and to share their stories far and wide.

Join Me for a 10-Day Tribute
From May 30 through June 9, I’ll be sharing daily blog posts from the ground in Normandy—introducing you to the veterans, showing the ceremonies, and reflecting on the emotions that come with walking in the footsteps of heroes.
My hope is that these stories will serve as a tribute to our veterans, an education for future generations, and a reminder of how precious freedom truly is.
Each update will be short, heartfelt, and easy to share.

This isn’t just a personal journey—it’s a company mission. At GrandPad, we’re committed to supporting seniors with compassion and connection.

I’m grateful to Delta and Best Defense Foundation for allowing us to be part of this powerful tribute to our nation's heroes.
Let’s take this journey together—and let’s never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom.
