Customizing Settings & Notifications

The GrandPad companion app is a powerful tool that allows caregivers and family members of GrandPad owners to finely tune the tablet experience and take care of the details so seniors can enjoy their GrandPad carefree. If you would like to change some settings or customize your notifications simply do the following:
  1. Click on the gear icon on the top-right corner of the app’s home screen.
  2. Connect your app to social media accounts in order to share photos from social networks with all your GrandPad contacts. Simply click “Link to Facebook” or “Link to Instagram” and enter your login credentials.
  3. Adjust when you receive notifications by toggling the three options under “Notification Settings.” You can choose to receive mobile notifications when someone comments on your posts, replies to your comments, and when your senior posts a comment.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and click “Change Profile Picture” to update the image your contacts see.

In addition to changing settings, the companion app is also a great place to get in touch with other contacts in your loved one’s network. If you need to confer with anyone in your GrandPad family , tap “Contacts” in the bottom-right corner of the app. From here you can select any family member listed as a contact on the GrandPad and get in touch with them via email, text, call, or video call.
